It is a best practice to upload your files to below directories based on the type of files:
- Web pages that need to be accessed by your users should be uploaded to the ‘httpdocs’ directory.
- Scripts should be uploaded to the ‘cgi-bin’ directory
- Custom error messages to ‘error_docs’ directory.
