Generating SSL certificate requests

The generate option creates a new certificate-signing request (CSR).

To generate an SSL Certificate Request:

1. On the left navigation panel, in the Server section, click Services.

2. On the Services page, click IIS Web Service.

3. On the Service Component Instance Shortcuts page, click SSL.

4. Click the Generate tab.

5. Complete the Generate SSL request form with the appropriate information.

• Country Code: Enter the country. For example, US, UK, IN.

• State/Province: Enter the state province name.

• City: Enter the name of your city.

• Site Name: Enter the name of your site.

• Department Name: Enter the name of your department.

• Registered Domain Name: Displays the name of your registered domain name.

• Email Address: Enter the Email address.

• Important: You must spell out the name of your state or province, and you must use an alphanumeric string for your company name; spaces and special characters such as , ! # $ & ][ are not allowed.

6. Click Generate.

The SSL certificate request is generated and is displayed on the Generate SSL Certificate page.
