Previewing a new site

For a new site, the DNS information for the site may not have had enough time to resolve and as a result the site may not be accessible from the Internet; however, you can still preview the Web page content and scripts of the site by using the URL's given below.

• Note: Once the DNS information for the new site resolves, you can go directly to the actual site by entering the URL http://<domain_name> in the Address field of your Internet browser.

Previewing Web page content

To preview Web page content for a site:

In the Address field of your Internet browser, enter the following URL:

http://<Ensim_Pro_server's_IP_address>/<site_name>

where:

• <Ensim_Pro_server's_IP_address> is the IP address of your Ensim Pro server

• <site_name> is the name of the site

Previewing scripts

To preview scripts (ASP, PHP, Perl, and so on) for a site:

In the Address field of your Internet browser, enter the following URL:

http://<Ensim_Pro_server's_IP_address>/<site_name>/<location_of_the_script>

where:

• <Ensim_Pro_server's_IP_address> is the IP address of your Ensim Pro server

• <site_name> is the name of the site

• <location_of_the_script> is the location where the script is stored.
