Removing a virtual directory

You can remove a virtual directory to permanently delete it from the database.

To remove a virtual directory:

1. Open the Site Administrator Home page.

2. In the IIS Web Service area, click Manage Virtual Directories.

3. On the Virtual Directories page, select the Virtual Directory to be removed.

4. Click the Remove tab.

5. Click OK to confirm. The virtual directory is removed from the list.

6. Note: Deleting a virtual directory does not delete the corresponding physical directory or files.
